MetroWest Transload, a BNSF Premier Transload Operator, is served by the Fort Worth & Western Railroad (FWWR - Station #10235 - Track #2222) with rail access to the BNSF, UP, and KCS Railroad.
We are located 2.5 miles north of Cresson on Hwy. 171, just 15 minutes from Loop 820 in west Fort Worth. Our prime location is rail freight competitive with Dallas/Fort Worth,and we provide safe/on time/cost effective transloading for the Dallas/Fort Worth area as well as any destination in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
Our secured 22 acre fenced and lighted facility is camera monitored 24/7. We offer outdoor, covered and enclosed storage, and have forklifts capable of lifting up to 36,000 pounds. Products recently handled include lumber, LVL beams, hardwood plywood, rebar, coiled rebar, plate steel, steel beams, palletized bentonite, crane mats, 4x8 mdf board, and cast iron pipe. Inventories are insured and are hand counted monthly for reporting to our customers.
We are members of the North American Wholesale Lumber Association (NAWLA), and the Transload Distribution Association of North America (TDANA).
